Your dermatologist will screen your skin for early signs of skin cancer and can also give you valuable advice about protecting your skin as you enter the aging process. Start the year off with a clean bill of skin health before moving forward with other anti-aging products and techniques.
Commit to Removing Your Makeup
After a long day, removing your makeup often seems like one extra, unnecessary chore. However, if you fail to remove your makeup each night, you are allowing it to clog your pores, which leads directly to fine lines and wrinkles. It is best to wash your face with a gentle cleanser and then follow up with a toner and moisturizer each night. At the minimum, however, you should be removing your makeup with wipes. When you are particularly stressed out, you carry tension in your face that leads to fine lines on the forehead and around the eyes.
